Donald
Varian received his undergraduate degree from the University of Akron
in Political Science.
He was a member of the United States Army
Adjutant General Branch, receiving the
rank of First Lieutenant.
He received his law degree from the American
University College of Law, Washington,
D.C.
During law school, he was contributing editor to
and a member of the Washington
College of Law's Law Review.
Don is married with four children in college,
law school and graduate school.
Special Counsel
for the Ohio State Attorney General's Office 2003 to 2007.
He has been active in the Summit County, Ohio,
community including his church,
political activities, and a variety of positions on boards of
non-profit and charitable
organizations.
PRACTICE AREAS
Don Varian has limited his practice to medical
malpractice cases, which is
the professional negligence of medical doctors; hospitals; emergency
rooms; or nursing homes.
His practice also includes personal injury,
other types of civil litigation, and
serious criminal litigation.
Mr. Varian has tried or resolved over 80 Driving Under the Influence cases a year.
